Our link expiration policy
Know how long a link works before sharing it in a message, document or printed QR code.
When Free links expire
Free links expire 30 days after creation.
After expiry, visitors see an expired-link page instead of being sent to the destination.
Pro links and cancellation
Links created on Pro never expire while they exist. They keep redirecting after you cancel Pro; editing their destinations requires Pro again.
A non-expiring link can still be disabled for abuse or deleted. Plan status does not override abuse controls.
Disabled links and retired slugs
Disabled links show a 410 page and do not redirect. Slugs are never reused, including after a link expires or is deleted. A retired short URL will not later point to someone else's destination.
